Langtang Gosaikunda trek is a great combination of adventure and pilgrimage as we explore the famous Langtang region and visit the sacred site of Gosaikunda. The two- week long trek passes through lush forests, traditional villages, and scenic routes to reach the holy site of Gosaikunda at 4460 meters.
Gosaikunda is a holy site for Hindus and Buddhists alike with the lake believed to have healing powers. We pass through beautiful traditional villages like Syabru, sparkling waterfalls, and yak pastures throughout the trek. We are blessed with the breathtaking views of the snow-clad peaks, passes, and wonderful landscape of Langtang region.
The trek reaches its maximum elevation of 5000 meters at Gosaikunda where we explore the lakes and revel in the formidable wall formed by the mountains all around. The two weeks-long trek starts from Syabru Besi and ends in Sundarijal of Kathmandu. The trail passes through traditional villages, Gompas, lush forests, and waterfalls and allows a glimpse of the life in the Himalayas.
The trek to the beautiful destination is possible throughout the year but trekkers usually avoid the monsoon season that includes months of July, August, and September. But the month of August sees an incoming of thousands of devotees who visit Gosaikunda during Janai Purnima festival.

<p>After breakfast, full day Kathmandu Valley City tour including Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa. In the evening, trek preparation. Night in Kathmandu.</p>
<p>After breakfast, drive to SyabruBesi. On the way, one can enjoy the scenic views of the mountain and rice terrains. SyabruBesi bazaar is cramped with lodges and hotels. Night in Syabrubesi.</p>
<p>After breakfast, start trekking from the main road and lower down to a camping area via the route opposite to the Hotel Village View. The trail further prolongs through the suspension bridge over BhoteKoshi and ascends to Thulo Syabru before crossing a bridge over Langtang Khola. Overnight stay at Lama hotel.</p>
<p>A short ascent up the hill will take us to the trail that opens up ih Langtang valley. The valley offers the breathtaking scenery of Langtang Lirung. Later passing through a forest to reach the meadow where yak and the wild goats can be seen grazing. Overnight stay in beautiful Langtang valley.</p>
<p>After breakfast, climb uphill all the way to Sindum and Yamphu. Later the route takes us through Laja Khola to arrive at a vjewpoint which provides the panoramic views of Kyanjin Gompa and ice-fall from Lirung and Kinshung. Below to the viewpoint exists Kyanjin Gompa. where we will stay overnight.</p>
<p>On the 7th day, we will take a well deserved rest from trekking and ease up our stiff muscles. Kyanjin Gompa offers splendid views of Langtang Lirung. Genjempol and Kenga Himal ranges. The cheese factory, Buddhist monastery and Tsergo Ri (5033m) are wonderful sites to visit. Tsereo Ri Hike which provides, the amazing view of mountains and where one can be on the top of Tsergo Ri. <p>After having breakfast, retracing to back Lama Hotel with view of Langtang valley and different escape of mountains. Night at Lama hotel.</p>
<p>After breakfast, back to Syabrubesi. The route goes to the small village of Syarpagoun, and continues onto Bhanjyanggaun and Khangjung before descending back to Syabrubesi. Night at Syabrubesi.</p>
<p>After breakfast, driving through the serpentine road enjoying the pleasant views of Majestic Mountain, cascading waterfalls, paddy fields and woods will take us to Kathmandu. Farewell dinner in the evening. Night at Kathmandu.</p>
